In-depth learning session A: Leading Digital Transformation
This workshop explores what it takes to lead digital transformation, and how that might differ (or not) from other leadership modalities. The workshop will be highly interactive, fun and safe. Participants will be invited to share their experiences in small groups, tease open real challenges that are being faced, and together explore alternative ways forward.
We will be visiting organisational development theory, in particular concepts drawn from change management. We will also deeply challenge those concepts in order to approach the essence of leadership. We will look closely at why people might resist transformation efforts and ways to overcome it. We will also face some harsh realities about emergent technologies and the future of work.
While the workshop will be organic in form, an array of tools will be shared throughout the day that participants can take away for later use.
Expect to leave with fresh new perspectives on leading in the digital age.
