The Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) is the peak representative body and advocacy group for the ICT industry in Australia. Since being established in 1978, it has been our mission to advocate, promote, represent and grow the ICT industry in Australia.

We are a not-for-profit organisation, with membership open to all organisations involved with the ICT industry in Australia.

We represent over 400 member organisations nationally, including global brands, international companies, national companies, and a large number of ICT SMEs. Our national board comprises representatives from hardware, software, and services companies and represents the diversity of our industry.


The Chamber of Commerce & Industry Queensland is our state's peak association for employers in any industry. We are a not-for-profit organisation run by business owners, for business owners. Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and PwC have partnered with Brisbane Marketing and Queensland Government’s Department of Science, IT and Innovation to create the PwC Chair in Digital Economy.

At the nexus of the real world and research, the PwC Chair in Digital Economy explores new opportunities for industry-academia relationships and is part of an on-going regeneration of QUT’s programs focusing on the preparation of graduates for a digitally connected economy. The PwC Chair drives digital business take up through research, education, services and industry advocacy.
